Gretsch 5 String Banjo With Resonator?
I found this banjo at a yard sale recently. it is in it 's original case and the serial number on the dowel rod is 66420. can anyone tell me if the 66 in the serial number means the year of manufacture? if so, how much do you think a 44 year old banjo in excellent condition would sell for?i did get the banjo and got it at an exceptional price. any suggestions on selling price should i decide to get rid of it? Ok i have played banjo for almost two and a half years but when i first started i didn 't think i was actually going to play it so i just messed around with it. usually banjo players play with 3 fingers but for some odd reason when i started i didn 't really go by that and played with 2 finger and no pick then finally i started playing with pick but i cant get out of my 2 finger playing habit. i can play the banjo good and one of my favorites to play is earls breakdown but i would like to play with 3 fingers any good tips on how to...............thank you (Read answers)

Hi! i am thinking of getting a 5-string banjo but i have absolutely no idea how much i should spend on one. i am thinking of getting either the maestro 5 string banjo for £55 reduced from £140 or the blue moon 5 string open back banjo. please help me. is this the right choice for a beginner? thank you all! Vega Plectrum 5-string Banjo String Worth Anything?
Is a plectrum vega 5string banjo package with a string worth anything? i found it in a house i bought from the early 1900 's. it is in original package and looks very old. anyone know if its worth anything or where i would go to find out? (Read answers)
